Pastor Wm. Di’Mon Brown
After serving in ministry for twelve years in the office of an evangelist, Wm. Di’Mon Brown surrendered to the pastoral calling in 1997. Pastor Brown established Promise Land Church Outreach- and from there, Joshua and Caleb Ministries, Inc (JCMI) was born. JCMI’s first service was held in the living room of his family’s home in Queens, New York. His beloved wife and ministry Co-Founder, Angela, and their children, Talima, Marc’el, and Di’Mon T. (who is now with the Lord) were among the first JCMI parishioners.
In 1999 Pastor Brown began a Bible Study fellowship at St. John’s University. JCMI grew out of these meetings and has continued to train leaders who seek to learn the truth of God’s Word and prepare to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Di’Mon Brown is a counselor, father figure to many, teacher and leader who leads by example. The Word that God speaks through him is relatable to everyday life. He teaches the congregation through his own experiences and is not ashamed to share them in order to help them grow.
As a result of his mentorship and guidance, several of his spiritual sons and daughters are leaders within Fortune 500 companies, as successful performers, producers, business owners & employers.
First Lady Minister Angela Brown
Minister Angela is a devoted wife and partner to her husband in the ministry. She serves as a counselor, teacher and devoted daughter of God.
Minister Angela manages the majority of JCMI’s departments, as well as its ministry leaders. She is also the Founder of Promise Land Food Pantry, the ministry’s primary outreach program.
The Promise Land Food Pantry started feeding about 30 people and has nearly tripled in size; largely in part to Minister Angela’s ability to build key community partnerships.
Our First Lady constantly puts others before herself and does so with a joyful and giving heart. “Mama Angela” is a gift and blessing from God.
