sal•va•tion [sal-vey-shuhn] the state of being saved or protected from harm, risk, etc.
Biblical salvation is God’s way of providing His people deliverance from sin and spiritual death through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. When you are saved, you are under God’s protection, you make Him your fortress.
Step 2: Why do I need salvation?
Why do I need salvation? God shows us that faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to be reconciled to Him. “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
The good news is- it’s a level playing ground for all of us! We all need Jesus- each and every one of us. And no matter where we come from, or what we’ve done, God is available right now for you to seek Him.
Step 3: Why would I want to be reconciled with God?
In addition to spending an eternity in heaven, here are some of the benefits to your salvation package:
• Freedom from a painful past and emotional bondage. • Renewed relationships with your loved ones. • 24/7, eternal and unconditional love from God- guaranteed. • Fulfillment and Prosperity. • Having a true purpose for your life. • Forgiveness from your past, present AND future sins. • Healing- spiritual, physical and more! • Freedom from all types of fear- and confidence in being kept safe and protected.
Step 4: How do I get saved?
All you have to do is accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Just say YES to God.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God
(Ephesians 2:8)
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. (Romans 10:9-10)
Are you ready to be delivered from sin and a painful past? Are you ready to live the abundant life that God has promised you? Are you ready to receive God’s healing, peace and joy?
If you said “Yes” to any of these questions, then you are ready to be saved! Now, simply pray this prayer out loud: SALVATION PRAYER:
“God, Your word says if I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from the dead, then I shall be saved. Right now, Jesus I accept You as my Lord and Savior and believe in my heart that You have been risen from the dead. I ask You to come into my life. Forgive me for my sins. I turn from my past and accept a new life with You. Today, I am saved. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.”
